DURACRETE® MACRO FIBRE MF-55
Structural Synthetic Fibres
Macro structural synthetic fibres are an engineered polypropylene fibre used for structural reinforcement in concrete, temperature and shrinkage control. Macro fibres are used as a replacement for steel mesh and steel fibre reinforcement for following applications.
BENEFITS
- Replace of Steel Fibre and steel Mesh
- Flexural toughness equal to steels
- Up to 50% price reduction vs steel fibre and traditional steel mesh
- Safer and lighter to handle than steel
- Reduces maintenance costs and rehabilitation closures
- Eliminates corrosion – long term durability
- Increases abrasion and impact protection
- Provides Long Term Residual Strength
- Reduce Fire Damage – Anti-Spalling
- Improve Structural Performance and Modified Concrete Wearing Surface
APPLICATION
- Dams spillway and ancillary structures including tunnels and downstream canals
- Concrete lining for canal and water reservoir
- Road Tunnels Lining and Shotcrete
- Hard Stands Concrete Flooring for warehouse and factory
- Highway Roadways Pavement
- Bridge Deck Pavement and elevated structures
- Apron and runway pavement
