- Plastic Shrinkage Cracking: Cement mortar in fresh state is plastic by nature and it undergoes volume changes due to loss of water through surface evaporation. A similar loss can occur by suction by the underlying dry concrete. When the surface area is large, amount of water lost exceeds the amount of water brought to the surface resulting in plastic shrinkage cracks in cement concrete plaster.
- Advance Micro Reinforcement: Presence of millions of Duracrete fibre in cement mortar reduces plastic shrinkage cracks up to 80%. The fibres are transparent and composed of inert material that does not interrupt with the aesthetic qualities of the finished plaster surface.
