Dosage
Silcrete micro-silica is recommended for high performance concrete and mortar applications. Following are recommended dosage in developing concrete mix with specific performance characteristics.

| 8% to 10% | High durability/ Low permeability such as bridge decks or parking structures |

Mixing and Handling
Caution must be used in exposed micro-silica applications, as concrete or mortar-containing micro-silica is darker than standard concrete. Micro-silica is very fine and dust may cause eye and respiratory irritation. Use good industrial hygiene practices (i.e. wear goggles and approved usage dust mask).
